Supported by decades of experience manufacturing medicaldevice components, B. Braun OEM Division offers 80 injection molding machineswith presses ranging from 55 to 330 tons as well as nine insertion-moldingmachines and ultrasonic welding systems. Many of the presses operate in an ISOClass 8 molding facility that stands at the forefront of technology. Thepresses are standardized to allow easy change-out of molds.
The manufacturing capabilities are complemented by anin-house tool and machine shop that maintains production molds. The company hasthe flexibility to produce custom core pins and inserts to modify an existingmold to meet customer demands. The facility can handle high-volume, tighttolerance fabrication of components for a variety of end-products such as checkvalves, stopcocks, clamps, caps and fittings.
