Skype to introduce ads



WASHINGTON (AFP) – Skype, the hugely popular free Internet communications service, announced plans Monday to introduce advertising as it seeks to boost revenue ahead of going public.

CUPERTINO (Reuters) – Apple Inc shareholders rejected demands that the company disclose a succession plan for ailing chief Steve Jobs but approved a proposal giving them a bigger say in appointing directors.

In terms of screen resolution, the iPhone 4 is near tops in the smartphone category. In terms of screen size, however, the iPhone of any generation has fallen behind in the "bigger is better" race that happens to so many consumer products.
